Basic Life Support And Aed – Adult And Paediatric
Basic Life Support skills with the use of a automated external defibrillator can increase an unconscious individuals chances of survival by up to 60 percent through prompt resuscitation. With our course we aim to increase your confidence, should you ever need to respond in an emergency situation.
On the completion of our course we will have given you the training and confidence to act swiftly and effectively to give the affected individual the best chance of recovery.
The Resuscitation Council UK have provided guidelines that contain detailed information about basic and advanced life support for adults, paediatrics and the newborn. Also included are guidelines for the use of Automated External Defibrillators and other related topics.
The course is open to anyone interested in acquiring or requiring skills in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Paediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS) with use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
No previous knowledge, training or experience is required.
Continuous assessments will be used to assess the participant’s progress throughout the course.
A Certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of the course.
