Understanding how to perform an ECG recording is vital in conducting analysis on a patients heart rhythm. In this course you will also learn how to use an Electrocardiogram (ECG) machine to conduct an ECG recording in the correct format. The course will guide you through the basics, from the actual preparation of the Electrocardiogram ECG machine, the placement of the limb and chest electrodes, to the communication and documentation of the test.
We also provide the Basic ECG Interpretation course, which is suitable for those who are interested in learning about interpreting the results from an ECG test.
Completing both courses together will increase your skills and knowledge as a healthcare professional.
Due to the practical nature of the course it is limited in attendance to 12 people at any one time.
This course is suitable for those who are interested in learning about the Electrocardiogram and how it is recorded.
No previous knowledge, training or experience is required.
Continuous assessments will be used to assess the participant’s progress throughout the course.
A Certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of the course.
