INFECTION RECOGNITION, PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT INCLUDES SEPSIS
In our Infection Recognition, Prevention and Management Includes Sepsis course we cover 8 different sub topics, ranging from “Classification of microorganisms (microbes)” to “Development, recognition and management of Sepsis”. This course is aimed specifically at students who have an interest in learning more about infection to healthcare workers whose daily job involves looking after patients who may be susceptible or currently have infections.
Our Sepsis topic, will be of extreme value to participants due to it being a life threatening condition. There are around 123,000 cases of sepsis a year alone in England. With around 37,000 people dying every year as a result of the condition.
Anyone can develop sepsis after an injury or minor infection, although some people are more vulnerable.
This course is suitable for anyone interested in learning about infection and specifically relevant to anyone whose occupation requires a knowledge and understanding of Infection its recognition, prevention and management.
No previous knowledge, training or experience is required.
Continuous assessments will be used to assess the participant’s progress throughout the course.
A Certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of the course.
